Paintology on Main: A Paint & Mixology Class

Paintology - Paint a work of art while sipping a work of art you created with talented Corie Sorensen! The featured painting will be Star Gazer paired with Starry Cosmic Layered Cocktail (non-alccoholic option available), and snack. Corie will walk the class through step by step instructions with hands on support for those who need it. For those visiting Park City the painted canvas fits perfectly in a suitcase. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours. Class located on our shaded outdoor deck (weather and class size permitting) at 427 Main Street, Park City, UT 84060. Corie Sorensen has been creating art for more than 25 years and has been teaching professionally since 2017. A 2005 graduate with a double major in Art and Anthropology, she has explored a wide variety of artistic mediums, including painting, stained glass, sculpture, embroidery, and murals. While she loves experimenting with many forms of art, painting has always been her favorite. Corie believes art should be joyful, approachable, and good for the soul. She loves working with bright, whimsical colors and creating a relaxed environment where everyone feels welcome—especially those who insist they "aren't artistic." Her classes focus on enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection, because there are no art critics at paint night—just people having fun and discovering what they can create. Whether she's demonstrating a new brushstroke, sharing techniques students can use beyond class, or offering one-on-one encouragement, Corie's greatest joy is helping people gain confidence, try something new, and leave with a smile and a painting they're proud of.
