Summer Garden Camps

Join us this summer at Garden Camp — where children grow their connection to food, nature, and community. Located at Summit Community Gardens, campers are immersed in our 1.5 acre space full of growing food and flowers, surrounded by nature, and nestled under the mountains. Each week, campers plant, tend, and harvest in the garden, then cook simple, seasonal recipes right on-site using fresh ingredients. Campers create nature-based art, investigate soil, plants, and ecosystems, and spend meaningful time digging and discovering outdoors. New this year, elementary camps run 9 am - 1 pm with an option to go Beyond the Garden exploring some of our most engaging community partners. Beyond the Garden field trips, from 1 -3 pm on select weeks, give campers the chance to connect gardening and cooking to local history, art, nature. There are nine weeks of camps for elementary age kids and eight weeks of camp for our preschoolers. Choose from exciting themes like Garden Chefs and Cycles or Nature Potion Lab. Register soon before they're all filled up. Scholarships are available.
