Presented by the Jazz Arts of the MountainWest, the JAM America250 Follies is a large-scale live stage spectacular celebrating 250 years of American music, culture, history, and spirit. Performed at the historic Capitol Theatre, the production combines nationally acclaimed guest vocalists, the live 20-piece Salt Lake City Jazz Orchestra, professional singers, and dynamic choreography featuring ballroom, jazz, tap, and pointe dancers. The show blends powerful multimedia storytelling with live orchestral performance through a series of short historical video presentations tracing America’s journey from its founding to the modern era, connected by themed musical and dance productions that showcase the sounds and spirit of America. Designed as a high-energy theatrical experience rather than a traditional concert, the JAM America250 Follies delivers an inspiring and patriotic celebration created specifically for America’s 250th anniversary. Run time: 135 minutes with 15 minute intermission. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
