Show Auditions

The Taylorsville Arts Council is holding auditions for Bright Star, the Tony Award-nominated musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 27 and 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville City Hall. Actors ages 16 and older of all experience levels are encouraged to audition. Please prepare 16 to 32 bars of a song in the style of Bright Star. An accompanist will be provided, or auditioners may bring an MP3 accompaniment track. Those auditioning in person should also bring a printed headshot and résumé, and can drop by anytime during the time window on either day. See additional details on Casting Manager.
