Join us as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Partnership for Accessing College Education (PACE) Scholarship Program at SLCC with "Six Stories, One Future," a community mural exhibition, highlighting the diverse narratives and shared goals of students from six high schools across Salt Lake County. The exhibition features a large mural created through hands-on workshops led by multidisciplinary artist and SLCC Alumnus Pablo Cruz-Ayala who serves as the lead designer and facilitator for the project, translating the students' varied personal narratives into a unified 360-degree panoramic landscape. The collaborative nature of the project bridges cultural history with contemporary identity. Each of the six schools has created and contributed to a unique panel, telling their own story. Where the panels join in the center of the mural, the different groups visually support one another, unifying the larger image and fulfilling the broader communal themes, as the students collectively lay the groundwork to shape their future skies through creative collaboration."Six Stories, One Future" will be on view in the East Lobby of SLCC's South City campus from June 4 - July 3, 2026, after which it will be permanently displayed in the nearby PACE headquarters.Participating Schools: Cottonwood High School, East High School, Granger High School, Highland High School, Kearns High School, West High School.
