Make the Call! Community Voices for Democracy in America! Share a tale of of a time you made the call, issued the rallying cry, or took a stand, because democracy is not a spectator sport! Find our traveling phone booth to leave a story or listen to others: June 8 - 11: The MARC June 12: Swanny Park, 5-8 p.m. June 15-18: The MARC June 19: Swanny Park, 8-10 p.m. June 22-July 2: The MARC July 6-9: The MARC July 10: Swanny Park, 5-9 p.m. July 13-16: The MARC July 17: Swanny Park, 5-8 p.m. July 20-23: The MARC July 24: Center Street Ballpark, 4-7 p.m. July 27-30: The MARC August 3-6: The MARC August 7: Outside at the MARC 5-8 p.m for ArtWalk The Community Voices Telephone Booth accompanies "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America," a Smithsonian exhibition that explores the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape our country. "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America" is made possible in Utah by Utah Humanities and local venues around the state. Voices & Votes is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress. Visit the phone booth in Moab from June 8 to August 7, 2026 and learn how Utah connects to this national story through local companion exhibits and public programming.
