GRAND COUNTY FAIR | Collecting Community Voices

Find us at the Grand County Fair! We'll have Voices & Votes crafts, games, a chance for you to add to the community poem, and an opportunity to share your story at the traveling phone booth. Can you believe there's more too! Whew! This event accompanies "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America," a Smithsonian exhibition that explores the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape our country. "Voices & Votes" is made possible in Utah by Utah Humanities and local venues around the state. Voices & Votes is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress. Visit the exhibition at Moab Arts from June 8 to August 7, 2026 and learn how Utah connects to this national story through local companion exhibits and public programming.
