Come explore the wonders of the microverse every Monday from 3-6pm by looking at found objects under microscopes! Our topics for this month are: July 6 -- Biofilms - Come learn about how microorganisms live together in communities called biofilms July 13 -- Mars Rust - Over millions of years, iron on the surface of Mars combined with water and oxygen to give the Red Planet its hue. Here on Earth, we call this rust! Using provided items, guests can create their own rust and learn about how to protect items at home from rust. July 20 -- Tardigrades - Examine living tardigrades with microscopes and learn about the amazing world of extremophiles! July 27 -- Geological Search for Life- Come see how scientists learn about ancient life using rocks and fossils. These events are free and do not require registration.
