2026 Indigenous Art Market & Festival

Since its inception in 2013, NHMU’s Indigenous Art Market & Festival has grown into a cherished annual tradition—one that draws some of the nation’s most gifted Native American artists to Salt Lake City. Over the years, artists from more than 25 tribes have shared their stories, heritage, and artistry, creating a rich tapestry of traditional and contemporary Indigenous expression at the Museum. Visitors are invited to explore and purchase one-of-a-kind works—from intricate beadwork and handwoven textiles to masterfully crafted pottery, jewelry, and paintings. But this event is more than a market; it’s a chance to connect with living traditions, to hear directly from artists who are not only creating breathtaking art but also preserving and passing on cultural knowledge.
