Matilda The Musical by West Jordan Youth Theatre

West Jordan Youth Theatre presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, November 6–14, 2026, at the Canyon View Credit Union Community & Arts Center.

Inspired by the wonderfully twisted imagination of Roald Dahl, this Tony Award-winning musical celebrates the power of courage, creativity, and standing up for what is right.

Matilda is an extraordinary young girl with a brilliant mind, a vivid imagination, and a few surprising abilities. Though misunderstood by her family, she finds an encouraging friend in her teacher, Miss Honey. But life at school is anything but easy under the rule of the fearsome headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.

With courage, cleverness, and determination, Matilda discovers that even the smallest person can make a very big difference.

Featuring a book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda The Musical is packed with memorable characters, energetic musical numbers, humor, heart, and a story the whole family can enjoy.

Join West Jordan Youth Theatre for this imaginative and unforgettable production, performing November 6–14, 2026 at the Canyon View Credit Union Community & Arts Center.
