Gunnison Valley’s Independence Day Celebration is a proud tradition rooted in generations of patriotism, community spirit, and small-town pride. As we commemorate America’s 250th Anniversary as part of Utah 250, we are honored to celebrate the people, history, and values that have shaped our valley and our nation. This year’s festivities include food trucks, vendor booths, and our popular community auction. The celebration continues with a spectacular fireworks display on the evening of July 3rd. On the Fourth of July, the fun carries on with our beloved hometown traditions—including the parade, car show, Lion’s Club lunch, and family games in the park—events that generations of families have come to know and love. While we proudly honor tradition, we also strive to make each year special by introducing something new and exciting for our community and visitors alike. Whether you’ve celebrated with us for decades or are joining us for the first time, Gunnison Valley’s Independence Day Celebration offers a meaningful, memorable way to celebrate freedom, history, and community.
