Winterizing the Garden & Garlic Planting - FREE In Person Class

As the end of the season approaches, it is time to start thinking about putting your garden to rest! Learn the best practices for winterizing the garden that both fosters the health of the soil and makes next spring’s clean up easier and better. In this class, we’ll discuss which plant material to remove, how to insulate soil and overwintering crops, how to incorporate soil amendments, and how to plant garlic now for a harvest the following July. There will also be hands-on demonstrations for clearing out a garden plot and planting garlic.
