Wayne Peebles Memorial Colt Starting

In memory of Wayne Peebles, who has started hundreds of colts for the community for many years! 3 days of colt starting and horsemanship skills from horsemen and horsewomen from everywhere! Competitors will compete for the title, saddle, belt buckle, and prize money! We’ll also be hosting a variety of fundraisers during the event. After covering event expenses, all remaining proceeds will go into a dedicated fund to support local cowboys and cowgirls who have been injured in horse-related accidents. These individuals can apply for assistance when they need it most.
