**Community Quilting Workshop QuiltComm** Want some time to sew with friends, make new friends, and spread across the world the love and comfort that comes from the gift of a quilt? Come learn and share your knowledge and talents. We have teamed up with **Lifting Hands International** to create twin-size or larger quilts for refugees and families in crisis around the globe. We’ll work together to make the quilts, and they will deliver them where the need is greatest. Quilting & sewing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Anyone from ages 13 - 103 is invited. Through the help of wonderful volunteers in our community we will have stations for each step of the quilting process: pressing, cutting, sewing, quilting, binding, and more! **Wondering what to bring?** We recommend that you bring your own sewing machine if you have one. Don’t forget to pack the cords, and any of your favorite tools & gadgets. Please label and keep track of any equipment, tools, or supplies that you choose to bring. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. **Do you play well with others and love to share your skills? Consider volunteering as a mentor!** We welcome donations such as: - quilting 100% cotton fabric. - quilt batting twin size and larger. - quilting supplies & tools. - UFO’s & finished quilts
