Delete Your Haps Account

This page explains how to delete your Haps account (the event-discovery app, package org.rustdev.haps) and the data associated with it. You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

  1. Open Haps and go to Settings (the gear icon in the bottom navigation).
  2. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm on the “Delete your account?” prompt.

Your account and associated data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out. This option appears once you have signed in with Google or Apple.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email admin@thehaps.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We verify ownership of the address and delete the account and its data within 30 days (usually much sooner). There is no charge.
