Free Lecture: "Pony Express & Communication on the Western Frontier"

Join author and historian Patrick Hearty at 4pm on Saturday June 27 as he takes us on a ride through the evolution of communication in the American West, with a focus on the Pony Express. He’ll bring the story to life through the people who made it happen, including a few unforgettable characters along the trail. Local Pony Express “re-riders”, Mike Luers and Greg DuPratt, will bring their horses for a mochila exchange demonstration. Admission is Free.
