The Get to the River Festival is a month of events and activities each September across the 50-mile Jordan River Parkway. It includes diverse outdoor recreation, conservation, arts and cultural, and social experiences that spark discovery, stewardship, creativity, and fun. The Festival is organized and promoted by the Jordan River Commission and Jordan River Foundation. Events and activities are organized and hosted by dozens of local partners and communities across the Wasatch Front region. Thousands of individuals and families turn out each year to participate. The Festival highlights this amazing slice of nature through the most urbanized and populated region of Utah’s Wasatch Front. It connects people with some of the things that matter most – family and friends, nature and wildlife, community and culture – and creates wonderful memories. What is Curbside Theater? Made by nonprofit SB Dance, Curbside Theater is the world’s greatest, most astounding, and only traveling dance-circus. Curbside concerts take place in parks, plazas, yards, public and private spaces, both indoors and outdoors.
