Wednesday Walk-Throughs: Emerson Elementary School Garden - FREE!

School gardens are more than a place to grow vegetables. They're outdoor classrooms where students can explore, create, connect with nature, and build lifelong skills. Emerson Elementary School Garden, one of Salt Lake City School District's longest-running school garden programs, is an example of what's possible when a school invests in growing both food and community. Want to experience it in person? Join us for our FREE Wednesday Walk-Through at Emerson Elementary on Wednesday, August 12, from 6:30–7:30 PM. Tour the garden, meet our Youth & School Gardens team and the Emerson Garden Committee, make herb playdough, enjoy light refreshments, and get inspired by everything from the pollinator garden to the fruit trees.
