Voices & Votes Exhibition | Opening Reception & Game Night

The Smithsonian is Here! Please join us to celebrate the opening of "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America" in Ogden! Come at 6:00pm for our official ribbon-cutting and welcoming remarks, then stay awhile to learn about debate and democracy through interactive games. What is the most American kind of food? Who is the most important American? Ranging from silly to serious, discover what using your voice means to you as we welcome the Smithsonian to Ogden! "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America," a Smithsonian exhibition that explores the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape our country. "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America" is made possible in Utah by Utah Humanities and local venues around the state. Voices & Votes is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress. Visit the exhibition in Ogden from October 24 to December 30, 2026 and learn how Utah connects to this national story through local companion exhibits and public programming. Museums at Union Station hours: Wed-Sat 11am-4pm. Exhibition is free with general museum admission. School and group tours on request.
