CEI New Building Ribbon Cutting & Community Open House

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the Battelle Energy Alliance Future Tech Building in Partnership with Frontier Credit Union! For the past two years, our community has watched this incredible new building take shape. Now it's time to step inside and see how it will help redefine what comes next for students, workforce training, and innovation in Eastern Idaho. The celebration begins with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m., featuring remarks from community leaders and special guests, including Governor Brad Little. Following the ceremony, the new building will be open for viewing until 4 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art learning spaces, learn about the programs that will call the building home, and see firsthand how this investment will expand educational opportunities for students and support the future workforce needs of our region. The Battelle Energy Alliance Future Tech Building in Partnership with Frontier Credit Union will enhance hands-on learning across multiple career and technical education programs and serve as the home of a new STEM Institute developed in collaboration with Idaho National Laboratory.
