Graduate Student Training Series: Writing for the Sciences with Karen Beard (WILD)
- 🗓 Friday, September 25, 2026 · 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- 📍 Merrill cazier Library, Logan, UT · Directions
Writing is a skill for scientists, just like data collection and data analysis, yet it’s rarely taught directly—we’re often expected to learn through trial and error. In this workshop, we’ll unpack some of the “tricks” of science writing, including understanding the structure of manuscript sections that can make getting started easier. You’ll leave with practical guidance for getting words on the page, along with the reminder that no one writes a great first draft: becoming a better science writer takes practice.
