Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she grew up in the heart of the Bible Belt, immersed in Christian music and faith-based culture. Music found her early, first through a plastic toy guitar at her grandmother's house, then through years of writing, playing, and eventually unlearning what no longer felt true. After attending a Christian high school and college, she began to feel the weight of that world. "My faith was changing, and I wanted to dig deeper into my songwriting," she recalls. "I couldn't do that if I kept going down the same path." That realization sparked a personal and creative rebirth - one rooted in growth, self-discovery, and artistic integrity that now runs through all of her work. Within the past year, Whitney released a series of standout singles that set the tone for her evolving sound.
