Richards Mathematics Lecture Series

Discover how math keeps modern digital life safe—from barcodes to satellite data—in an engaging, accessible presentation by guest speaker Beth Malmskog, Ph.D. The series is generously supported by Frank Richards, a retired Weber State mathematics professor, and his wife, Lisa Richards, and hosted by the Weber State University Department of Mathematics. This talk requires no advanced background and will teach you hands-on tricks like predicting numbers from UPC symbols. More information is available on the lecture series website.
