Craft Lake City Workshop: Make a Leather Luggage Tag at Asher Adams Join local artisan Stephanie Mma-Powell of Powell Supply Co. for a hands-on leatherworking workshop at the historic Asher Adams boutique hotel.During this two-hour workshop, Stephanie will guide you through creating a functional leather luggage tag built for your future travels. Learn beginner-friendly techniques including basic leather stitching, attaching buckle hardware, burnishing edges and decorative leather stamping. Stephanie will provide step-by-step demonstrations and individual guidance throughout the workshop. All leather pieces will be pre-cut and punched, allowing you to focus on assembling, finishing and personalizing your project. About the Instructor As a maker who combines a love for the outdoors with her engineering background, Stephanie Mma-Powell creates functional leather accessories built to last. Based in Utah, Stephanie has spent the past several years expanding her experience in designing and handcrafting durable, aesthetically thoughtful leather pieces. Through Powell Supply Co. , Stephanie creates products inspired by craftsmanship, utility and adventure. Upon arrival, attendees will check in with a Craft Lake City representative, gather the necessary supplies from the instructor and select a seat.All participants must be seated no later than five minutes before the workshop begins. Craft Lake City strives to provide a high-quality making experience during every workshop. This policy ensures that participants have adequate time to learn, create and enjoy the activity. Waitlist Policy Craft Lake City workshops frequently sell out. Spots may occasionally become available when registered participants do not attend, and these openings are offered to individuals on the workshop waitlist.To join the on-site waitlist, please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop and check in with a Craft Lake City representative. Individuals will be added to the waitlist in the order they arrive.Five minutes before the workshop begins, Craft Lake City may invite waitlisted individuals to purchase tickets on site and take the place of absent participants. Placement is not guaranteed. Cancellation and Transfer Policy Craft Lake City cannot offer refunds or exchanges, but workshop tickets are transferable.If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend, family member or another individual interested in the workshop. The person attending in your place must arrive 15 minutes before the workshop and present a printed or electronic copy of the ticket along with the original ticket holder’s name to a Craft Lake City representative.
