Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band - Concerts in the Park

The Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band has been an internationally renowned military band since 1924. The band is a traditional favorite for performances on Armed Forces Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. The band has performed with many groups around the world including the Leningrad District Army Band, and the U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus. They have performed in places like Germany, Morocco, and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. The 23rd Army Band has also performed with the Tabernacle Choir, the Utah Symphony, and the U.S. Army Field Band. The 23rd Army Band is more than just a group of musicians; it is also a group of highly trained U.S. Army soldiers. They maintain readiness with a full training schedule. During the day, these citizen-soldiers work as accountants, engineers, emergency responders, doctors, teachers, parents, and more. This is part of the 2026 Summer Concert Series at Temple Square. This will be a free, hour-long concert in the Brigham Young Historic Park. This event is open to the public and no tickets are required. Seating is limited, so we suggest arriving early. Standing room is available, and pillows or blankets are welcomed. Free parking is available in the North Office Building north lot after 5:30 p.m.
