drunk in june

oftentimes bands are more then just a collection of musicians, and are able to spur social change or lay the groundwork for decades of bands after them. drunk in june is none of these things. the band’s songs are based around the guy that never grew up, never stopped drinking at dive bars, and almost never pays his rent on time. their music is created to be loud and meaningful to some, while throwing in some melancholic lyrics to give it that signature midwest emo feel. their live shows incorporate elements of high energy, on-theme attire, and enough alcohol to bring you to your knees.
