Ambassadors of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger

Interested in Africa? You won't want to miss this event, where ambassadors to the US from Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger will visit BYU for a panel discussion. Sekou Berthe has served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali to the United States since 2023. He received his PhD from the University of Ghana. Kassoum Coulibaly is a Burkinabè military leader, politician, and diplomat who currently serves as Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the United States, a position to which he was appointed in July 2025. Clémence Aissatou Bare has served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to the United States since September 2025. She is an accomplished medical doctor, global health diplomat, and senior international civil servant.
