The U.S. Department of Labor is hosting a local outreach event for uranium workers, miners, and their families who may be eligible for compensation under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Program Overview & Medical Benefits presentations by the Department of Labor. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Meet one-on-one with DOL staff to learn about EEOICPA eligibility, file a new claim, check status on existing claims, or get assistance with medical benefits.
