Science Utah Lecture Series Mycology in a New World: What Can Fungi Do For You? This talk will explore the Kingdom of Fungi, in all it's wild wonders. We will investigate the many applications of fungal biology for landscaping, cooling the planet, conserving water, and fighting disease. Aimed at all levels for anyone that's ever been curious about Fungi and symbioses! PETER PELLITIER grew up in the wet woods of the Pacific Northwest. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pomona College, his PhD at the University of Michigan, and Postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
