DAR America 250! Patriot Marker Unveiling

Soon, the United States will celebrate its Semiquincentennial — the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. To commemorate this great achievement and pay homage to the visionaries who laid the groundwork for the creation of the United States of America, the City of St. George will unveil its new Daughters of the American Revolution America 250! Patriot Marker on the City Hall Plaza (61 S. Main), July 2 at 8 a.m. Local organizations joining the celebration include the Color Country Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Red Cliffs of Zion Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
