The Wonder of Scripture with Laura Bridgewater

Laura Bridgewater will deliver this Wonder of Scripture lecture. She is dean of the College of Life Sciences and a professor at Brigham Young University, where she focuses on molecular biology, cartilage development, osteoarthritis, gut microbiota, and bacteriophages. Bridgewater is known for discovering the nBMP2 protein in her laboratory and for mentoring undergraduate researchers. The Wonder of Scripture series, sponsored by BYU’s Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, invites speakers from diverse backgrounds to explore how sacred texts shape understanding, inspire wonder, and inform meaningful lives.
