Lakefest 2026

Join Grow the Flow at GSL Yacht Club for a FREE, family friendly celebration that is dedicated to protecting Utah's most vital water source. Lakefest will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 10AM to 4PM at Great Sale Lake State Park and Marina. Lakefest gathers the community together to raise awareness about Great Salt Lake's critical condition and enjoy a day of outdoor fun. The Great Salt Lake now sits at just 36% full which makes community engagement and education more important than ever. Lakefest is a reflection of the urgency of our Lake's water crisis and the collective mission to ensure water reaches the Lake. Experience a day full of exciting cardboard boat races, guided nature walks, kayaking, artist workshops, lawn games, live music, live eagles viewing, food trucks, and education presentations about Great Salt Lake. Whether you're a longtime advocate or new to the movement, Lakefest offers something for everyone. It is a celebration that honors our Lake and empowers Utahns to take action. Come connect with fellow community members, learn how to make a difference, and show Utah's leaders why protecting Great Salt Lake is worth our collective effort.
