Left of Cool Band: Concert

Mills Station Arts & Cultural Center (M.A.C.C.) is proud to host Left of Cool Band. This spousal duo has been singing and playing music together since they stumbled upon an open mic in the 80s. Inspired by the harmonies and instrumental excellence in Bluegrass, they’ve learned hundreds of songs together over the years, expanding their repertoire into Americana, Traditional, Folk, Old Country and some "Soft Rock" as well as home-grown originals. Hugh Hoeger is an accomplished musician on several stringed instruments including guitar, mandolin and bass. Hugh takes the lead in driving the unique Left of Cool sound with his distinctive flat-picking style on guitar and his soulful, authentic voice in singing. Sheri Hoeger is grateful to have woven music and visual arts into a sustainable creative lifestyle. In recent years, she has explored songwriting as another expressive outlet. Sheri enjoys sweet lead and harmony singing and keeping the low end solid on bass.
