Secret Arch Hike (Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks)

Arches National Park holds more than 2,100 arches, and most of them are not on the map handed out at the gate. Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks leads an easy-to-moderate hike to some of the park's lesser-known arches with local arch enthusiast Alison Simon, who will explain the World Arch Database and the rating system used to evaluate arches along the way. Meet at the Windows section at 8 a.m. Free to attend; donations support the parks. Space is limited to 15 participants — register at foacp.org.
