Watermelon Music in Davis presents Danni Nicholls. Hailing from the ancient market town of Bedford, England, and raised on the American roots music spinning from her Anglo-Indian grandmother’s record collection, soulful Americana singer-songwriter Danni Nicholls has spent the last decade carving out a respected place on the global roots scene. Now proudly based in Nashville, TN—her long-dreamed-of spiritual home—she continues to grow her stateside presence, tour widely, and prepare for the release of her forthcoming fourth full-length studio album, Making Moves. The record finds Danni stepping more fully into her own power, embracing change, and writing with renewed clarity about growth, courage, and letting go. Described as a “one in a million” artist with a “velvet voice” (Maverick Magazine), and with songs hailed as “classy and compelling” (R2 Magazine), Danni brings warmth, soul, and nuance to every stage she steps onto.
