Stars vs. Students Community Flag Football Game

Local “stars” including the sheriff, fire chief, police chief, commissioners, teachers, nonprofit leaders and hospital staff take on Grand County High School students in a flag football game on the high school field. Former NFL player Gaelin Elmore referees. Elmore, a nationally recognized speaker who experienced abuse as a child, will speak at about 7 p.m. about belonging and how small acts of support can change a young person’s life. The evening includes performances from the drill and cheer teams, food and giveaways. Free and open to the community. Hosted by the Grand County Children’s Justice Center.
