Voices & Votes | America's Music Night

We are getting ready to welcome "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America," a Smithsonian exhibition that explores the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape our country. Join us to learn about the upcoming Smithsonian exhibition coming soon to Union Station! Music is a powerful way people have participated in democracy. Learn and listen to some of the most quintessential American songs of democracy during October's First Friday Art Stroll event. "Voices & Votes: Democracy in America" is made possible in Utah by Utah Humanities and local venues around the state. Voices & Votes is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. It is based on an exhibition by the National Museum of American History. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress. Visit the exhibition in Ogden from October 24 to December 30, 2026 and learn how Utah connects to this national story through local companion exhibits and public programming. Museums at Union Station hours: Wed-Sat 11am-4pm. Exhibition is free with general museum admission. School and group tours on request.
