Community Creates: Ledger Paintings with Avis Charley

Join contemporary Native artist Avis Charley for a special hands-on workshop exploring the tradition and creative possibilities of ledger painting. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about this distinctive art form and create their own work inspired by the stories, imagery, and visual language of ledger art. The workshop will take place in two parts. The first session (10-12 pm) is limited to 25 participants, led by Avis Charley, offering participants an opportunity to work directly with the artist and explore her approach to ledger painting; advance registration is free and required.
