Best Friends Animal Sanctuary - Ecology Walk

Join us for a botany/ecology walk led by ecologist Marc Coles-Ritchie. Learn about the beautiful plants of Best Friends and Southern Utah. We will slowly walk the half-mile trail to the Gratitude Garden identifying wildflowers, grasses and shrubs as we go and come back on the same trail, for a round trip of 1 mile. You can turn around at any point. We will meet at the Canyon Overlook Trail near the Bunny House Advance registration preferred but not required *Our Sanctuary is spread across 6,000 acres. If you are not familiar with the property, allow yourself sufficient time to visit the Welcome Center and obtain a map. This activity is outside and requires walking on sand.
