Access to Music in St. George

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Access to Music concert is presented for people with disabilities and their families. This free, hour-long performance is a sensory-friendly opportunity for all to experience live music without any expectation to remain seated or refrain from audible or physical reactions. From fairy-tale wonder to full-blown comedic chaos, this program never sits still. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte overture opens with mischief and momentum, before Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel turns tender. Sondheim's "Agony" spins heartbreak into comedy, and Mascagni's Intermezzo—lush, aching, unforgettable—brings a moment of stillness before Offenbach barrels back in, building toward a Can-Can that audiences feel coming a mile away and still can't resist. Then the night takes a heroic turn: Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Rossini's William Tell—bold, thrilling, and electric.
