2026 Songwriter Competition Showcase

Utah County is home to remarkable musical talent, and the annual Songwriter Competition & Showcase is where that talent takes center stage. Open to songwriters ages 14 and up from across Utah County, this free-to-enter competition invites you to submit an original song for a chance to be selected as one of ten finalists and perform live to a captive audience and panel of judges. Finalists are chosen based on originality, aesthetic quality, song arrangement, and lyrics, and each finalist receives thoughtful feedback from a panel of industry professionals. Two winners are selected at the conclusion of the showcase: the Grand Prize winner, chosen by the judges, and the Arts Commission Choice winner, selected by members of the Pleasant Grove Arts Commission. Prizes from generous local sponsors make winning even sweeter. The Songwriter Showcase is also a fantastic evening out for the whole community. Whether you're competing or just coming to listen, the event is open to the public and celebrates the incredible homegrown music scene right here in Utah County.
