4-H Block Printing with Fruits and Veggies

Grand County 4-H hosts a Block Printing Workshop with volunteer Kyla. Block printing is a printmaking technique where you carve an image or pattern into a block of material โ€” this beginner workshop uses the shapes and lines of produce as an introduction, a stepping stone toward carving materials like linoleum and creating your own patterns. Students receive a tote bag to decorate and take home, and can even submit it to the Grand County Fair to win awards. There is a $7 material fee. Registration is on Z-Suite under the Events tab. Questions: Isabel Lindsay, 4-H Program Coordinator, Grand County Extension โ€” (435) 797-1483, isabel.lindsay@usu.edu.
