Power in Pink - Iron County Annual 5k Run/Walk

Power in Pink - Iron County 5k Run/Walk is held from 8:30 am along the Canyon Park Trail, beginning at West Canyon Park (133 S 400 E, Cedar City). The run/walk is held to raise funding to support local breast cancer patients receiving treatment at the Cedar City Cancer Center. Participants walk or run along the Canyon Park trail in honor of those who are fighting or who have fought Breast Cancer. For information and to register, visit powerinpink-ironcounty.com/ . Each participant receives a swag bag, medal, and t-shirt with their paid registration. The trail is lined with breast cancer warriors, and a kick-off program is held to share information about breast cancer prevention and life-saving information. Prizes are awarded to teams and individuals. The team with the most participants will also take home the annual traveling trophy. It's a great way to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, honor brave men and women who have fought the disease, and enjoy all things "pink" for a good cause.
