Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation presents Bachauer Concert Series 2026-2027 October 9th, 2026 – April 30th, 2027 at 7:30pm Jeanné Wagner Theatre Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center Salt Lake City, Utah On sale: 7/12/2026 at 10am. Kotaro Fukuma in Concert Internationally acclaimed pianist Kotaro Fukuma pays Homage to Franz Liszt, a fascinating journey through Liszt’s musical world. Featuring music by Liszt, Wagner, and contemporary composer Matthieu Stefanelli, the program culminates in Liszt’s magnificent Années de pèlerinage (Years of Pilgrimage): Italy. Youl Sun in Concert Fresh from his Bachauer Gold Medal victory and Carnegie Hall debut, Youl Sun presents a dazzling program. Music by Gabriela Frank and Texu Kim sets the stage for Debussy’s colorful Images and Liszt’s monumental Transcendental Études, among the most celebrated works in the piano repertoire. Lori Sims in Concert Gold Medalist Lori Sims explores the dialogue between tradition and innovation in a compelling program featuring Bach, Ligeti, and the powerful music of Sofia Gubaidulina, one of the most influential voices of contemporary classical music. Bolai Cao in Concert Bolai Cao closes The Bachauer’s 2026-27 Concert Series with a program of color, imagination, and elegance. Highlights include Ravel’s shimmering Miroirs and selected works by Samuel Barber, revealing the expressive richness and poetic beauty of the piano. Run time: 105 including 15 minute intermission. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Infants not admitted. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age.
