Nicole Keller | Eccles Organ Festival

With the 2026-2027 season, the Eccles Organ Festival enters its 33rd year of providing world class organ performances, master classes, public lectures, and educational events for the Salt Lake Community free of charge. With the Thirty-Third season comes six Festival Recitals featuring artists from North and South America, and from overseas, in addition to the traditional Brass and Organ Christmas Concert, one child-oriented performance, and three Open Gallery Nights.

The festival opens on Sunday, September 13, at 8:00 PM, with a recital by acclaimed co ncert artist and pedagogue Nicole Keller at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. A faculty member at the University of Michigan, Keller is celebrated for her stylistic versatility and precision, bringing a distinguished career as both a soloist and orchestral organist to a program that spans centuries of musical expression. Featuring works by César Franck, Felix Mendelssohn, Arvo Pärt, George Shearing, and Charles Tournemire, the re cital balances German Baroque and French Romantic traditions with modern minimalism, culminating in Tournemire's radiant Choral-Improvisation sur le "Victimae paschali."
