Vernal's Firecracker 5K - 2026

The Dinosaurland Freedom Fest is back even bigger this year celebrating 250 years of America! Wear red, white and blue. Face paint. Whatever you want! Starting with the singing of the National Anthem and ending the race near the Field of Flags. Join the community for this patriotic tradition. The Firecracker 5K Race will start at UBTECH @ 7am July 4th & finish at the Ashley Community Park . Shuttle buses will be available to transport runners from the park to UBTECH before the race from 6-6:45am. Or you can park near UBTech and USU. NO SHUTTLE SERVICE AFTER THE RACE. The 1 mile race will be held at 8 am for ages 12 and under at Ashley Community Park.
