Saint Thomas Album Release Show

Royalty is an alt-rock band from Provo, Utah, made up of Riley Gibson, Jace Fike, and Dan Cutler. With Gibson handling vocals, piano, bass, and production alongside Fike’s guitar work and Cutler’s drumming, the band builds a sound that blends driving rock arrangements with textured synths and elements of pop and hip-hop.

Their music pairs expansive instrumentation with sharply introspective songwriting, moving between poetic imagery and direct, unguarded reflection. The songs follow moments of change as they happen—capturing uncertainty, identity, and the quiet tension of becoming someone new without fully understanding what that means yet.

Originally conceived as a solo project by Gibson in his early teens, Royalty evolved into a full band in 2025 with the addition of Fike and Cutler, marking a clear starting point for the group’s identity. Entirely self-written and self-produced, their debut album Saint Thomas reflects that transition—songs written across different stages of personal change, unified by the process of working through it in real time.

Gibson said “[The name of the band] is meant to represent the inability to live up to an expectation you put upon yourself, and eventually having to chart your own path.” Their music stays with those moments—long enough for something to take shape.
