Soren Green Classical Guitar Concert

Soren Green—guitarist for local Celtic group Callanish and fusion band Instrametal—will play a dedicated classical set in this special community concert sponsored by Utah Classical Guitar. With Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Germany and France represented in the program, this internationally-oriented performance will include selections from Bach and Tarrega to Satie and Crespo. As a finale, Soren will be joined by John Adams on violin and Ben Spigle on Flute for a trio of Green's original compositions, dedicated to the victims of 9/11. Held in the sanctuary of historic St. Mark's Cathedral in Salt Lake, this performance represents a unique opportunity to celebrate both local community and international diversity.
