Design, create, and bring ideas to life using amazing technology! In this hands-on tech art class, kids will turn their imagination into real creations using remarkable tools like iPads, 3D printers, laser cutters (Glowforge), and vinyl cutters (Cricut). Using provided iPads and Apple Pencils, students will learn to design with Procreate (for drawing) and Nomad (for 3D modeling)—and they’re welcome to bring their own device and Apple Pencil if they have one!Throughout the class, students will work through three exciting project categories:Laser Cut Art – Learn how to engrave and cut acrylic using a laser cutter. Students will learn how to make layered scenes or whimsical creatures straight from their imagination.Custom Stickers – Design original stickers in Procreate and cut them out using a Cricut machine. Students will learn different methods to format and plan sticker layouts for cutting on the Cricut.3D Printed Creations – Build a 3D object in Nomad, then print it using 3D printers that bring tiny, detailed designs to life! This class is perfect for curious creators ready to explore art through technology. No experience needed—just creativity!
