Duchesne Community Orchestra, The Legacy of America - 250th Anniversary

This special community concert, presented by the Duchesne Orchestra, commemorates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, marking two and a half centuries since the nation's birth in 1776. Titled “The Legacy of America – 250th Anniversary,” the event is scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Duchesne High Auditorium and is offered as a free family concert for all ages . Through orchestral music and community participation, the concert is designed to honor the sacrifices, achievements, and freedoms that have shaped the nation over the past 250 years while inspiring reflection on the responsibility of current and future generations to preserve and strengthen that legacy. Supported by local, state, and national arts and civic organizations, the event aims to unite residents in a shared celebration of patriotism, gratitude, and community spirit on the eve of Independence Day.
